resourcing will supply hospitality staff for the
Dubai World Cup in March 2011 - one of the most
prestigious and glamorous events in the
horseracing calendar.
Catering and hospitality recruitment specialist
rd resourcing has been approached to supply a
team for the Dubai World Cup in March 2011, and
staff with relevant experience are being asked
to come forward to apply for the various roles
available.
This is the first foray across international
waters for Southampton-based rd resourcing, as
founder and Company Director Richard Disney
explains.
"This is a really great move for the company and
fantastic experience for our staff," he said.
"The furthest that we have worked to date is
Scotland, so we have never been off the island
before."
The opportunity to participate in one of the
world's most prestigious sporting events came
about as a result of working with other UK-based
racing venues, most notably Newbury Racecourse
in Berkshire, by building an impressive
reputation with the club over the past two
years.
The majority of contracts with the venue were
agreed with and overseen by the club's
hospitality manager, who recently moved to Dubai
to lead the hospitality division at one of the
partners of the Dubai World Cup, and approached
rd resourcing to fulfil resourcing requirements
for the March event.
"It's a real pat on the back for our guys," said
Richard. "It's their hard work and commitment
over the past couple of years that really put us
in the spotlight and led to this opportunity.
"I'm really proud of our staff and the fact that
we have been asked to supply a team for such a
high-profile event. This will be a fantastic
experience for our staff and a great reward for
them too."

resourcing will supply a team of managers and
supervisors to work at the event, who will stay
in Dubai for 7-10 days and will have all
travelling expenses, accommodation and costs
covered.
Candidates who have relevant hospitality
experience at either supervisory or managerial
