Cadbury
cafes to open across the UK within next 5 years
Confectionary-maker
Cadbury, now owned by US corporation Kraft, are set to
launch a series of chocolate houses across the UK within
the next 5 years.
The new
sites will offer afternoon tea and possibly a
chocolate-making demonstration service, where large
versions of their most popular products such as Flakes
and Curly Wurlys, will be made on site.
The
scheme could build on the 'Cadbury Cocoa House' name
which was used for an outlet in Bath until 2007.
However, Cadbury say it is still "very early days", but
that it is an "exciting concept that builds on the
success of the Cadbury brand".
Up to
60 chocolate houses could be opened across the UK within
the next 3 - 5 years. |
